Israel says Iranian security chief Ali Larijani and Basij chief Gholam Reza Suleimani were killed in the attacks

After Khamenei, Larijani is the most important Iranian official to be targeted.

Ali Larijani was a man with gray hair and a white beard. He looked very calm.

He was a dignified leader with a very strong charisma. He was previously the speaker of the Iranian parliament. He was even known as the Kantian philosopher in Iran. He acted not only as a politician but also as a great Iranian thinker and philosopher.

How important can Larijani's assassination be? To a great extent. If confirmed, Iran has lost the second most important figure at the heart of the regime's political and security establishment at a time of great crisis. 

According to the New York Times, Larijani had a reputation as Iran's top national security chief, acting as a bridge between extremist figures in the armed forces and moderate political parties. The New York Times believes that the killing of Ali Larijani by Israel could allow the extremist military wings to take over Iran and become more tough.

Iran’s top security official, Ali Larijani, had a reputation for being able to bridge the gap between the country’s hard-line military wing and moderate political parties. His death in an Israeli airstrike on Tuesday may pave the way for the National Army and the Republic Revolutionary Guards Corps to take over and tighten the system of governance.

Larijani, chairman of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, was the country's de facto president after US and Israeli air strikes killed senior government and military leaders at the beginning of the war. He was known as a confidant of Ayatollah Khamenei, the supreme leader who was killed at the start of the U.S.-Israeli campaign late last month.

According to international observers, Larijani's responsibilities have increased steadily in recent months, including overseeing the crackdown on anti-government protesters in January. He also had strong relations with allies and neighbors, which prepared Iran for a military confrontation with the United States.

However, Iran has not yet confirmed the news. Iranian state media claimed that a message from Larijani would be released soon, although they did not indicate whether it would be in written or video format. So far, no such message has been released.

Last night was a very difficult night for the capital of the Arab countries. More than 155 missiles and drones were intensively bombed in Baghdad and the Gulf countries. It seems to be the answer to these attacks.

The attacks on Baghdad's green zone were so intense that people said it was no longer a green zone and had become a red zone. The US Embassy and the Rashid Hotel were targeted.

Katz, Herzog and Netanyahu say this is a Newroz gift, a year of freedom for the brave Iranian people, and no others were injured in tonight's attack.
